CRM integration
Connect to your customer relationship management system and move data between the two tools.

What it is
CRM integration connects the tool to the system where you keep contacts, deals and customer history, such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. The vendor should name the supported systems and explain what passes across, for example new leads, meeting records or activity notes. For example, a form submission creates a contact in the CRM and starts a follow-up task for the owner.
Why it matters
Without a link, someone has to copy details between tools by hand, which delays follow-up and introduces errors. A good connection gives sales a single, current view of each contact. If you have no CRM or very few contacts, a spreadsheet may do for now.
What to check
- Which CRMs have a built-in connection, and which need a third-party automation tool?
- Which fields and objects sync, and in which direction?
- Can you map custom fields, and what happens to duplicates?
- Is the connection included in your plan or only in a higher tier?
