Trackdesk
Why Trackdesk
Records clicks and conversions in real time for each affiliate and partner programme, calculating commissions across multiple configurable models. Manages payouts automatically and allows teams to handle several brands and regions from a single account with integrations to Stripe, Shopify and hundreds of other services.
What it does
Trackdesk is software for running affiliate and partner programmes. It records clicks, leads and sales in real time, works out commissions under the models you set, and pays your partners. One account can run several brands and regions, each with its own tracking and payouts.
Tracking is flexible. It supports server-to-server postbacks, pixel, coupon codes, deep links and ad click IDs from Google, Meta and TikTok. Reports run from the whole portfolio down to a single event, and dashboards can be configured for each manager.
Why you would need it
You feel the pain when a partner programme starts to work. A referral link and a spreadsheet are fine for five partners. At fifty, you are chasing missing conversions, arguing over attribution, and spending a day each month on payouts and fixing mistakes.
Trackdesk puts tracking, commission rules, fraud checks and payouts in one place, so the programme can grow without a person added for each new partner.
Where it fits
Trackdesk sits between your billing or shop and your partners. It names integrations with Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, HubSpot, Zapier, AppsFlyer, PayPal, Wise and Tipalti, and lists more than 900 in total.
It replaces spreadsheets and manual payout runs once a programme has many partners. It also has a marketplace of affiliates and affiliate managers inside the platform, so you can find partners without leaving the tool.
What stands out
- Many commission models: revenue share, CPA, CPL, CPS, tiered, hybrid and multi-level, per partner or per offer.
- Fraud detection that blocks bots and invalid traffic, and a Commission Advisor that flags errors before payouts.
- Payouts in several currencies through Wise, PayPal, Tipalti and Confirmo, with no-code flows for payout and notification steps.
- A REST API, webhooks and a native MCP server with write access.
My take
Trackdesk is built for programmes with real volume and some complexity. If you run multiple brands, geos or offers, the flexibility earns its place.
For a first affiliate test, it is too much. The plan limits (seats, active offers and coupons) and the price assume an existing programme. If you are still checking whether partners sell at all, start with something lighter and move once the programme proves itself.
Verdict
Pick it if partners already bring meaningful revenue and you need tracking, fraud control and payouts under one roof. Skip it if you are testing the idea, or if a simple referral scheme on a SaaS billing system is enough.

Your note
Before you choose
Plans gate the useful parts
The entry plan limits seats, active offers and coupon tracking. White label, a custom domain, the full API and the MCP server sit on the Enterprise plans. If automation or white label is why you are buying, check that your plan includes it.

A tool for existing programmes
There is a 14-day free trial and no free plan. Use the trial with a real offer and a real billing connection, not a demo. Check that conversions from your billing system are tracked without custom work, as that decides whether the numbers can be trusted.
Setup is technical
Postbacks, pixels and event tracking need care. The vendor offers a Postback Assistant and support services for setup and migration. Budget time, or developer help, for the first integration.
Compare the alternatives
For SaaS programmes, Tolt, FirstPromoter, Rewardful and Tapfiliate are lighter. For wider partner ecosystems, look at PartnerStack and impact.com. Compare them on your commission model, payout methods and how many brands you run.
