Tapfiliate
Why Tapfiliate
Tapfiliate is a cloud-based affiliate and referral tracking platform that records clicks, conversions and commissions across partner-driven channels. It suits e-commerce and SaaS businesses that want to launch and manage partner programs without building custom tracking. Setup is straightforward using a JavaScript snippet, pre-built integrations or a REST API.
What it does
Tapfiliate is affiliate and partner tracking software. It records clicks, conversions and commissions, and gives each partner a white-label portal with their links, stats and payouts. You can run affiliate, referral, influencer, content creator, brand ambassador and reseller programmes from one account. Commissions can be percentage, fixed, tiered, recurring or lifetime.
Why you would need it
Paid ads get more expensive, and partners who send customers for a share of the revenue are an attractive alternative. The pain starts when you try it by hand. Tracking links in spreadsheets, matching sales to partners and working out commissions at month end goes wrong quickly, and partners lose trust when they are paid late or wrongly.
Tapfiliate tracks every click and attributes the sale, so you can pay partners accurately. A partner can log in and see their own numbers, which saves you the support emails.
Where it fits
It plugs into the place where the sale happens. For e-commerce that is Shopify or WooCommerce, and for SaaS it is usually Stripe or another billing tool. Conversions flow into Tapfiliate, which calculates commissions and shows reports. It lists CRM integrations such as HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, so partner leads can be tied to deals. It replaces manual tracking in spreadsheets. It is not a general CRM.
What stands out
- Flexible commission models, including recurring and lifetime commissions for SaaS.
- A white-label partner portal, so partners see your brand.
- More than 30 integrations, a REST API and Zapier support.
- An official MCP server, so an AI assistant can answer questions about programme performance.
My take
I'd pick it when you want to start a partner programme and need to be live in days, with a tool that already connects to your checkout or billing. The commission types cover most SaaS and e-commerce models, and the white-label portal is included from the start.
What I'd watch is the plan limits. The entry plan caps clicks and conversions, and overage charges apply beyond that. Multi-level commissions and automated payouts need the higher plan. Also, partner fraud is real, so look at how conversions are validated before you pay out large sums.
Verdict
Pick it when you are an e-commerce or SaaS business that wants a flexible, white-label partner programme with room to grow. Skip it when you expect very high click volume from day one without checking overage, or when you want partner discovery rather than tracking. For that, look at PartnerStack or impact.com.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Click and conversion limits
The Launch plan caps clicks and conversions, and the Scale plan raises them with unlimited affiliates and programmes. Estimate your traffic from affiliates, not your total traffic, and check the overage terms. A programme that works can outgrow the entry plan fast.

Features that sit on higher plans
Multi-level marketing and automated payouts need the Scale plan or above. If you plan to pay partners automatically, or run sub-affiliate tiers, check that before you start. Enterprise pricing is not public, so large programmes need a sales call.
Trial and set-up
The trial is 7 days on the entry plan and longer on higher ones. That is short for a programme, because you need real conversions to judge it. Prepare tracking, your commission rules and a few test partners before you start the trial.
Alternatives to compare
Rewardful, FirstPromoter and Tolt focus on SaaS and Stripe. Post Affiliate Pro and Trackdesk are other affiliate tools. PartnerStack and impact.com suit larger partner ecosystems, and CJ Affiliate is a network rather than a tracking tool.
