The verdict
If you are comparing these two, I'd first ask which part of the business is hurting. Pick Contentsquare when your site has traffic, a funnel and unexplained drop-offs. Pick Trackdesk when partners already bring in revenue and your spreadsheet cannot keep up with attribution and payouts.
For a small B2B team, neither is the first tool I'd buy. A simple web analytics tool comes first, and a free replay tool such as Microsoft Clarity comes before a paid one. Trackdesk comes later still, once a partner programme has proved that partners sell. Both have an API and an MCP server, so either can be wired into your automations when the time comes.
