Links marketing touchpoints and ad spend to customer revenue and pipeline for B2B SaaS teams.

Why Spectacle

This marketing attribution platform connects campaigns, ad spend, and product activity to CRM pipeline and revenue. It is built for B2B SaaS, product-led growth, and long-funnel B2C teams who need to see which channels drive actual customer value. Multi-touch attribution models provide more nuanced customer journey insights than first- or last-click approaches.

Best for
B2B SaaS, product-led and long-funnel marketing teams that need to connect ad spend and campaigns to pipeline and closed revenue in their CRM and billing data.

What it does

Spectacle is marketing attribution software. It collects website visits, ad clicks, product activity and CRM outcomes through one tracking snippet and native connections. It then ties them into one path from a first anonymous visit to a closed deal or a payment. You can compare four attribution models side by side: linear, first touch, last touch and U-shaped.

I tested Spectacle as an alpha user, as a head of growth and founder of two agencies. The product has been fully built out since.

Why you would need it

Ad platforms report clicks and platform conversions. Your CRM reports deals. Nobody can say which campaign created the customer, because the two sets of numbers never meet. In a long sales cycle that gets worse, because the ad click and the closed deal can be months apart. The result is a spreadsheet exercise before every budget meeting.

Spectacle does that matching for you. You see revenue per campaign, per ad group and per cohort, reconciled to the CRM and to billing.

Where it fits

It sits between your ad platforms and your CRM. Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and others feed in spend and clicks. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and other CRMs feed in deals. Stripe feeds in payments. It also sends audiences and conversion signals back to the ad platforms. It replaces the manual spreadsheet that tries to join those sources, and it does not replace your CRM or web analytics.

What stands out

  • Native connections to many CRMs and nearly every major ad network, including LinkedIn, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest.
  • LinkedIn company attribution, which links company-level LinkedIn engagement to website activity and pipeline.
  • Company identification, to see which companies visit without converting.
  • Audience syncs that push high-intent visitors to Meta and Google and account lists to LinkedIn.

My take

I'd pick it when your sales cycle is long and more than one channel touches a deal. That is where first-click and last-click reports mislead you most. It was built for SaaS and subscription businesses, where lifetime value only shows up over time, and that focus shows.

What I'd watch is fit and set-up effort. If you sell once and the sale closes in a day, a simpler setup is enough. The data is only as good as your CRM hygiene and tagging, so spend the first week on tracking and on mapping deal stages. The company is Dutch, based in Utrecht, which may help if you want a European vendor.

Verdict

Pick it when you are a B2B SaaS, PLG or long-funnel team spending real money on paid channels and you need numbers finance will accept. Skip it when your funnel is short, your ad spend is small or your CRM data is not trustworthy yet.

Before you choose

It is built for long funnels

Spectacle is designed for SaaS and subscription businesses, and for other sales that take months. That is its strength. If you run a transactional shop or a short funnel, you will use only part of it and a lighter tool is cheaper in effort.

Plans are banded by ad spend

The plans are banded by the amount of ad spend you track, plus the number of workspaces and users. A growing ad budget moves you up a band, so ask what happens when you cross one. There is a 14-day trial without a card.

Check your CRM and tracking first

Attribution lives or dies with clean deal stages, consistent UTM tags and a working tracking snippet. If your CRM has duplicate contacts or missing stages, fix that before you judge the output. Spectacle offers server-side tracking and a tracking proxy, which can help with blocked scripts.

Alternatives and the free baseline

For a first look at where traffic comes from, Google Analytics is free and may be enough. Tools such as Dreamdata and HockeyStack cover similar B2B attribution ground, so compare how each handles your CRM. If you already live in HubSpot, look at what its own reports can answer first.
