Follow-up emails after a submission

What it is
A follow-up email after a submission is a message sent automatically as soon as someone finishes a form, quiz or event registration. It might confirm the sign-up, deliver a download or give the next step. The important point is that it is set up inside the tool itself, so you do not need a separate connector or automation service to make it work. Brevo, eWebinar, Kit, Loops, Mailchimp and Typeform are examples of tools listed with this feature.
Why it matters
People expect a response quickly, and a missing confirmation makes a business look careless. Without this feature, you may have to connect another service or send each message by hand. You need it for lead magnets, registrations and enquiries. If form entries go to another system that already sends the emails, you may not need it in this tool.
What to check
- Can you write and style the email yourself, and include answers from the form?
- Does the email go out immediately, or can it be delayed or followed by further messages?
- Can different answers lead to different emails?
- Is the sending address your own domain, and does the tool help you set it up so messages reach the inbox?
