Enrich LinkedIn contacts with verified email addresses and sync them directly into your CRM.

Why Surfe

Surfe is a browser extension that runs over LinkedIn to find and enrich business contacts with verified email addresses and mobile numbers. It syncs enriched profiles directly into your CRM including LinkedIn messages, making relationship data part of your sales records. Built for sales teams and SDRs doing outbound work, it integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive.

Best for
Sales teams, SDRs and RevOps running LinkedIn-led outbound who want verified emails, phone numbers and buying signals synced into HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce without manual copying.

What it does

Surfe finds and enriches contacts and accounts, and syncs them into your CRM. You use it as a Chrome extension on LinkedIn or through its platform. It searches across more than 15 data sources in a waterfall to find verified emails and mobile numbers. It also tracks buying signals such as job changes, hiring and funding, and keeps CRM records current and deduplicated.

Why you would need it

If your team prospects on LinkedIn, the same ritual repeats all day. Find the person, copy the name, look for an email, paste it into the CRM and hope it is not a duplicate. Conversations stay on LinkedIn, and the CRM tells an incomplete story. Records go stale, and email bounces rise.

Surfe automates the copy-and-paste. A profile becomes a complete CRM record in a click, and the data keeps refreshing so reps start from a list they can trust.

Where it fits

It sits between LinkedIn and your CRM. Data comes in from LinkedIn and from its provider waterfall. It flows into HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, and on to sales engagement tools such as Lemlist, Outreach and Salesloft. It replaces manual data entry and, for many teams, several single-purpose prospecting tools. Surfe says it powers Pipedrive's native data enrichment and HubSpot's Prospecting Agent.

What stands out

  • A waterfall across many data providers, which should raise the share of contacts you can reach.
  • Native CRM sync for HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, including captured conversations.
  • A public API and an official MCP server, so AI agents can search and enrich.
  • A free plan, so you can test data quality on real prospects.

My take

I'd pick it when LinkedIn is a real sales channel and your CRM is where reps work. The time saving is in the sync, and a CRM that reflects LinkedIn activity beats one that needs manual updates. I work mostly with HubSpot, so the first thing I would check is how it maps fields and handles duplicates there.

What I'd watch is data quality for your market. Find rates vary by country and industry, so test it on a list you already know. Also check that using a browser extension on LinkedIn fits your own rules and risk appetite.

Verdict

Pick it when your team prospects on LinkedIn daily and wants verified contact data in the CRM without the copying. Skip it when you need a full company database with deep firmographics. Then compare ZoomInfo, Apollo or Cognism.

Before you choose

Credits drive the limit

Plans are built on credits for emails and mobile numbers, per user. The free plan has a small monthly allowance, and mobile credits are scarcer than email credits. Estimate how many contacts each rep enriches, and compare that with the credits in the plan, before you roll it out.

Check what your plan includes

The pricing page lists API access under Enterprise, yet Surfe also publishes a public REST API and an MCP server that use an API key from your settings. Ask the vendor which plans include API and MCP use before you build on either.

Data quality varies by market

Waterfall enrichment improves coverage, but no provider is perfect everywhere. Test it on prospects in your own region and industry. Look at the share of verified emails and phone numbers that really work, not just the count found.

Alternatives to compare

Lusha, Cognism, Apollo and ZoomInfo are the main alternatives for contact data. LinkedIn Sales Navigator gives lead lists and signals on LinkedIn itself. Clay suits you if you want to build your own enrichment waterfall.
