What it is
Official first-party remote MCP server shipped by FirstPromoter (documented at https://docs.firstpromoter.com/mcp/overview, tools at https://docs.firstpromoter.com/mcp/tools). Marked experimental: tool names, parameters and auth flow may change without notice. HTTP transport server behind OAuth 2.1 (authorization code + PKCE S256). Works with Claude (desktop/web), ChatGPT, Claude Code CLI and Cursor/other MCP clients; gives read and write access to campaigns, promoters, referrals, commissions, rewards, promo codes, assets, emails, etc. Money-movement actions (payouts, invoices, commission creation) and broadcast/send-now emails are excluded and remain dashboard-only. Adding the custom connector requires a paid Claude plan; ChatGPT requires Developer Mode enabled.

Checked on 2026-10-10 in the developer documentation.

How to automate FirstPromoter

Native integrations

FirstPromoter connects to your billing provider (Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee, Recurly, Braintree) and listed platform integrations such as Zapier, Make and Albato. One concrete idea: connect Stripe once, and every renewal and cancellation updates partner commissions with no manual input.

API and webhooks

There is a documented API v2 and a Webhooks v2 system with event types, payloads and retries. One concrete idea: when a new promoter is approved, a webhook sends their details to your CRM, such as HubSpot, so your team can follow up with a welcome note.

MCP server

FirstPromoter has an official MCP server at https://mcp.firstpromoter.com, marked experimental by the vendor. It offers 53 tools, and every change needs your approval on a confirmation card. One concrete idea: ask Claude to list pending commissions and your top promoters by revenue, then review the results before you pay anyone in the dashboard.

No-code automation

The vendor lists Zapier, Make and Albato for connecting to other tools. One concrete idea: when a new promoter signs up, a Zapier or Make scenario posts it in Slack and adds them to an onboarding email list.
