Free responses/mo

States how many form responses the free plan accepts before the tool stops collecting or asks you to upgrade, shown as a written limit.

What it is

Many form and survey tools cap the number of responses you can collect on a free plan, usually per month, though some cap the total. This feature records that limit as text, because the wording varies. Some tools have no cap at all, while others stop at a small number. For example, a limit of 100 responses would suit a small feedback form but not a busy event registration.

Why it matters

A form that stops working at the wrong moment costs you leads, bookings or survey answers. If you launch a campaign that sends a lot of traffic to a form, you can reach a free limit within days. Knowing the cap in advance lets you choose a free plan that fits, or plan the move to a paid one. You need to look closely if you expect spikes in submissions. If you only collect a few responses, almost any limit will do.

What to check

  • Whether the limit counts per month or in total, and when the count resets.
  • What happens when you reach it, for example whether new responses are lost or held back.
  • Whether other limits apply, such as the number of forms, questions or file uploads.
  • Whether you can still view and export existing responses after hitting the cap.
