A/B testing and experimentation platform with tiered plans, a free trial and an official MCP server.

Why Convert Experiences

Convert Experiences is an A/B testing and experimentation platform for websites. Teams use it to test page changes, personalise experiences and measure the effect on conversion. Plans are tiered by tested users, projects and domains, and it suits marketing and growth teams that want a clear price list.

Best for
Marketing, growth and agency teams that run A/B tests on websites and want a platform with published plans, a free trial and support for AI assistants.

What it does

Convert Experiences is a platform for running experiments on websites. You change a page, send part of your visitors to each version and measure which one drives more conversions. Plans are sized by the number of tested users, active projects and active domains.

It also has an AI side. Convert Intelligence lets you work in prompts inside the app, and an MCP server lets an outside assistant read results and build tests.

Why you would need it

Without testing, a website changes by opinion. A new headline goes live, conversion moves, and nobody knows whether the headline caused it. Testing turns each change into a controlled comparison.

If you run several client sites, or one site with many pages, you also need a way to keep tests organised across projects and domains. This is where the plan structure helps.

Where it fits

It sits on your website and feeds off your analytics. It lists integrations with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, HubSpot, Mixpanel and Shopify.

It replaces ad hoc changes made straight in the CMS, and for some teams a mix of a basic testing plug-in and a spreadsheet of results. A free migration from VWO is offered for teams switching.

What stands out

  • Published plans with a 15-day free trial and no credit card needed.
  • An MCP server, in a hosted version with OAuth sign-in and a local version, with separate read, write and delete access, and curated prompts for audits and reporting.
  • Several active projects and domains, which suits agencies.
  • An enterprise tier with a service level agreement for compliance-heavy teams.

Who it suits

Agencies and in-house teams both fit. Agencies get several projects and domains to keep client tests apart. In-house teams get a single place to plan, run and review experiments across pages.

It is less suited to one-off tests, where a basic plug-in is cheaper and quicker.

My take

I would pick Convert when you want a serious testing tool without a sales process. You can read the plans, start a trial and see whether the workflow suits you.

What I would watch is the monthly cap on tested users. If your traffic is large, count visitors before choosing a plan. And a tool is only as useful as the testing programme around it.

Verdict

Pick it when you run regular A/B tests, manage several sites or clients, and want clear plans. Skip it when you only run one test a year, or when you need the biggest enterprise platform.

Before you choose

Tested users set the limit

Each plan includes an allowance of tested users every month. High-traffic sites should check how the allowance applies to them, and what an upgrade costs. Higher plans mainly add projects and domains, so choose by structure as well as traffic.

Annual billing is cheaper

The page shows lower rates when billed annually and higher ones month to month. Start on the trial, then decide. Taxes are added at checkout depending on your billing location.

You still need a testing process

The platform does not tell you what to test. Someone has to own a backlog of hypotheses and review results. Without that, plans go unused.

Alternatives to compare

VWO and OmniConvert are the closest comparisons. The big enterprise platforms are the larger option. For lighter needs, a landing page tool with built-in tests such as Unbounce may be enough.
