Skai
Why Skai
Skai centralises paid media planning and optimisation across retail media networks, paid search and paid social. It is built for enterprise brands and agencies managing large ad budgets across multiple channels and retail partners. The platform includes AI-driven recommendations and automated campaign adjustments to improve performance across campaigns.
What it does
Skai, branded as Kenshoo Skai, is a paid media platform. It plans, runs and optimises advertising across retail media networks, paid search, paid social and more than 300 channels. Its AI, Celeste, recommends and automates changes, and it unifies advertising data for reporting and measurement.
The company now describes itself as an agent-native platform. Skai Studio lets teams build their own agent workflows, Datahub supplies agent-ready data and Agent Connect opens Skai's data and actions to outside AI agents through MCP.
Why you would need it
When a brand advertises on Amazon, other retail networks, Google and social at once, each channel has its own console, its own metrics and its own reports. Teams spend weeks building spreadsheets just to see where the money went.
Skai gives one view and one place to act. You can shift budget between channels, apply bidding rules everywhere and report on the whole mix. That matters when the budget is large enough that a small percentage of waste is a lot of money.
Where it fits
Skai sits above your ad accounts. It replaces the separate consoles and the spreadsheets used to run them, but the accounts, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads, still exist underneath. Your analytics and commerce systems stay beside it.
Lighter tools such as Optmyzr or Madgicx cover smaller budgets and fewer channels.
What stands out
- Retail media depth. Skai is strong where retail networks matter, with retail analytics and digital shelf insight.
- Published pricing logic. Pricing is tiered by annual ad spend under management, which is clearer than a blank quote form.
- Agent features. Studio and Agent Connect are aimed at teams who want to build their own automation on top of the platform.
- Broad channel coverage. One platform for more than 300 channels reduces tool sprawl.
My take
Skai is an enterprise tool, and I would not look at it unless the ad budget justifies it. Its pricing tiers start at ad spend in the millions, and the value comes from a team that runs it every day.
For a B2B growth team with a modest budget, the sensible route is a lighter optimisation tool or the native ad platforms. Skai is for the case where channel sprawl and retail media are the actual problem.
Verdict
Pick Skai when you manage large budgets across retail media, search and social and have a team to run the platform. Skip it when your ad spend is modest or mostly B2B lead generation, where the native ad platforms and a lighter tool are the better match.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Built for large budgets
The entry tier assumes ad spend in the millions each year, and commitments are annual. Smaller programmes go through reseller partners. Check that your spend justifies the tier before you take a demo.

It needs a team
The platform pays back when people use it daily, build rules and review recommendations. Without that team, you pay for features nobody uses. Plan for onboarding and ownership.
Pricing depends on your ad spend
Pricing is tiered by annual ad spend under management. Growing the budget moves you up a tier, so ask what the next tier changes in features and in cost.
Alternatives and overlap
For search, Optmyzr is a lighter option. For social, Madgicx and Revealbot are worth a look. Compare them if your mix is mostly one or two channels rather than retail media.
