Publer
Why Publer
Publer schedules, publishes and analyses social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other networks from one calendar. It is designed for creators, small business owners and agencies managing multiple accounts or client workspaces. Pricing scales by social account and team member, so it suits both individual creators and small agencies.
What it does
Publer is a social media scheduler. You connect your accounts, write a post once, adapt it per network and put it on a calendar. It publishes to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Google Business Profile, WordPress, Telegram, Mastodon, Threads and Bluesky.
Around the calendar sit the things a busy social manager needs: drafts and an ideas list, labels, a media library with folders, bulk upload, recurring and recycled posts, analytics and a browser extension for scheduling from any page.
Why you would need it
Social media dies from inconsistency. Posting by hand in each network's own app means you skip days, forget a platform and have no single view of what goes out next week. You feel the pain when you manage more than two channels, or when you run accounts for clients and every one of them has its own login and routine.
A scheduler changes that. You batch the writing in one sitting, see the whole plan on one calendar and let the posts go out while you do other work.
Where it fits
Publer sits at the end of your content process. Ideas, copy and images come from your team, a design tool or an AI assistant. Publer takes them, queues them and publishes. It connects to Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox, Unsplash and Bitly for the media side, and to WordPress as both a source and a destination.
It replaces the native scheduler in each network and the spreadsheet content calendar. It does not replace your CRM or ad tools, and it does not do community management beyond publishing and analytics.
What stands out
- Wide network coverage, including newer ones such as Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads.
- Bulk scheduling, auto-scheduling, recycling and recurring posts, so evergreen content keeps working without you.
- Workspaces with labels and approvals, which is what an agency needs to keep clients apart.
- An API, a Zapier app and an MCP server, so other tools and AI assistants can create and read posts.
My take
I like Publer for the breadth and for the way it is priced. You pay by social account, not by a bundle of features you do not need, and there is a free plan that is usable for a single small brand.
What I would watch is the plan gates. The free plan has a small scheduling allowance and leaves out X. Analytics, AI features, approvals and the API sit on the Business plan, so a team that wants the full workflow will land there. Pricing by account also grows with every channel you add.
Verdict
Pick Publer if you manage several networks or client accounts and want one calendar with bulk tools at a sensible price. Skip it if you need social listening, a shared inbox for comments and messages, or deep reporting for a large brand. A bigger suite such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite covers more of that.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Check what the free plan really covers
The free plan is meant for one person with one workspace and three social accounts. X is not included, and scheduling is capped per account. It is a fair way to test the calendar, but most teams will outgrow it quickly. Decide up front which networks you must have and count your accounts before you pick a plan.

The API and MCP need the Business plan
Automation is a paid feature here. The API and MCP access are only for Business and Enterprise customers. If you plan to connect Publer to your own tools, price that plan from the start instead of testing on a lower one and finding out later.
Per-account pricing adds up
Pricing is per social account, with extra team members priced too. A single brand with three channels is cheap. An agency with thirty client accounts needs a proper calculation. Compare the total with Buffer, Hootsuite and Later at your real number of accounts.
Analytics depth sits higher up
Competitor analysis, best-time heatmaps and the fuller reports belong to the higher plans. If reporting is the reason you are buying, check that the plan you choose includes the charts you would show a client.
