Team availability view
See your colleagues' free and busy times, or their schedules, side by side when planning work or meetings.

What it is
A team availability view shows several people's calendars or workloads next to each other. Instead of checking each person one by one, you can see who is free on Thursday afternoon or who has too much planned. Google Calendar, Motion and Toggl list a version of this, with different levels of detail.
Why it matters
Finding a meeting time by messaging back and forth wastes hours across a team. Seeing the schedules together also shows uneven workloads before they turn into missed deadlines. It matters once a team is larger than a handful of people or works across time zones. For a solo user, it adds nothing.
What to check
- Does it show full details or only free and busy, and who can change that.
- Does it handle time zones and working hours correctly.
- Can colleagues outside your organisation be included.
- Does it show planned work as well as meetings.
