Lead capture forms
Build web forms inside the CRM that create contacts or deals when submitted, whether as a native feature or an included add-on.

What it is
Lead capture forms are web forms you build inside the CRM and place on your website or landing page. When someone submits one, the CRM creates a contact or a deal and stores what they entered. For example, a contact form on your pricing page can send each enquiry straight into the sales pipeline as a new deal. Close, HubSpot and Pipedrive are among the tools that offer this.
Why it matters
Without a form connected to the CRM, enquiries arrive by email or in a separate tool, and someone must copy them across. That causes delays and lost leads. A built-in form puts the lead in front of the right person at once and records where it came from. If you already use a dedicated form or landing page tool that connects to your CRM, you may not need this feature.
What to check
- Ask whether the form builder is part of the plan you would buy or a paid add-on.
- Check which fields can be mapped to CRM fields and whether you can add your own.
- Test whether submissions can assign an owner, start an automation or notify a salesperson.
- Find out how forms can be placed on your site, for example as an embed, a link or a hosted page.
