Demio

Runs live or automated webinars with engagement tools, polls, chat and attendance tracking.

Why Demio

It combines browser-based webinar hosting with registration pages, engagement tools (polls, chat, Q&A) and attendance analytics. For marketing teams running lead-generation webinars, sales teams running product demos and customer success teams, it integrates with CRMs and marketing automation to sync attendee data. The platform supports both live and automated webinar formats.

Best for
Marketing and sales teams running lead-generation webinars or product demos who want to see which attendees engaged, then pass that data to the CRM.

What it does

Demio is a browser-based webinar platform. Attendees join from a link with no download. You can run live webinars, automated and on-demand sessions, product demos and virtual events from the same account.

It adds branded registration pages with custom fields, branded rooms and email notifications. It can also restream to other platforms.

Why you would need it

A generic video call tool tells you who showed up. It does not tell you who cared. You feel that gap when sales gets a list of 200 attendees and has no idea whom to call first.

Demio records what people did: whether they joined polls, downloaded handouts or chatted. That turns a webinar from a broadcast into a source of scored leads.

Where it fits

It sits between your promotion (email, ads, social) and your CRM. Registrations come in through Demio pages, and attendance and engagement data go out to the CRM or marketing automation. The vendor names Salesforce, Zapier, Mailchimp and HubSpot, and says it is a HubSpot Certified App.

It replaces a video conferencing tool you were bending into a webinar tool. It does not replace the CRM.

What stands out

  • Engagement tracking that goes past attendance into polls, handouts and chat.
  • A focus level score that flags highly engaged attendees.
  • Interactive tools: polls, featured actions, handouts, moderated chat with tagging and Q&A.
  • Both live and automated formats, so a good live session can become an on-demand one.

How I would use it

The simplest set-up is one recurring webinar: a product demo or a training session. Run it live a few times, check which polls and handouts people respond to, then turn the best session into an automated one. The engagement data from the live runs tells you what to keep.

Then agree one rule with sales. For example, anyone who joins a poll and downloads a handout gets a call within a day. Without a rule like that, the engagement data sits in a report and nobody uses it.

My take

I'd pick it when webinars are a real lead source and your sales team will act on engagement data. The tool is built for that, and the setup is quick.

I would not pick it for one-off events with big audiences or many hosts. Capacity and host limits sit on the plans, and the higher tiers are priced per host. Get a quote for the size you need before you commit. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial with limited attendees and session length.

Verdict

Pick it when you are a marketing team that wants webinar engagement tied to lead scoring. Skip it when you run rare, large, one-off events, or when you only need a place to present.

Before you choose

Check host and attendee limits

The entry plan covers a single host and a small room. Growth and Premium are priced per host. List how many hosts and how many attendees you really need, then ask for the figure.

The trial is limited

The 14-day trial has restricted attendee numbers and session length. It is good enough to test the room and the polls. It will not tell you how a large session behaves.

Check how engagement data reaches your CRM

The value is in the engagement data, so test that it arrives where sales works. Run one session and look at what lands in HubSpot or Salesforce. If only attendance arrives, the main reason to buy is gone.

Alternatives to compare

Livestorm, BigMarker, Zoom Webinars and GoTo Webinar cover live events. For recordings that run on repeat, look at eWebinar.
