The verdict
Neither is the "winner", because they are optimised for different motions. Pick Folk if your pipeline is really a relationship graph: you meet people across email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and you want them captured without manual entry. Its custom objects and multi-channel sync make it the better home for founder-led, network-driven selling, and its 24 USD entry buys a tool that populates itself.
Pick Pipedrive if your work is genuinely deal-shaped: a known set of opportunities you push through stages, where built-in calling and a tight pipeline matter more than relationship capture. It is cheaper to start at 14 USD and harder to outgrow as a pure sales-process tool, as long as you do not need a flexible data model or native LinkedIn and WhatsApp capture.
If you are a solo B2B founder building from your network, lean Folk. If you have a repeatable deal flow to manage, lean Pipedrive.
