Carrd vs Webflow

Carrd logovsWebflow logo
Carrd is a quick one-page builder for tests. Webflow is a visual builder with a CMS for real company sites, and it takes longer to learn. Most B2B teams outgrow Carrd.

The verdict

For a small B2B team that wants a company website it can grow, I'd pick Webflow. Every B2B site I manage today runs on it. I can build campaign landing pages in hours, the CMS handles content marketing well, and the Editor mode lets colleagues change copy without breaking the design.

If you only need a page to test an offer or collect sign-ups, pick Carrd. It is live the same day and costs very little to be wrong with.

The honest cost of Webflow is the learning curve. A marketer with no design background will need training, or an agency to build the structure first. If you cannot invest that time yet, start on Carrd and plan the move. Carrd's own limits, one page per site and narrower design control, make that move likely once the idea works.

Who each is for

Carrd logo

Choose Carrd if…

Pick Carrd when you need a single page and you need it now. It suits founders, freelancers and small teams running a landing page, a waiting list or a link-in-bio.

You pick a template, change the text, connect a form to your email tool and publish. The free plan covers up to three sites on a Carrd address, and paid plans add a custom domain, forms and widgets.

It works best as a test bench. A wrong idea costs very little, and you can duplicate a page for the next test.

Skip it if you need a blog, a multi-page site or fine design control. Those are things Carrd does not try to do.

Webflow logo

Choose Webflow if…

Pick Webflow when you are a marketing team, designer or agency that wants a custom-looking B2B site you can change quickly, and you are willing to climb the learning curve.

It gives you design control close to code, a CMS for blogs and resource libraries, and an official MCP server and Data API for connecting other tools. Forms can feed your CRM, such as HubSpot.

The frustrations are real. Pricing is split into site plans and workspace plans, which makes budgeting fiddly, and extra editors add cost. The Designer can lag on very big pages. Moving off later means rebuilding parts of the site, and the ecommerce side is limited for large shops.
