API and webhooks

Brand Radar is part of the Ahrefs REST API, next to Site Explorer and Rank Tracker. Consumption is limited by your plan.

Automation idea: pull your visibility numbers for a fixed set of prompts every week into a sheet, so you can chart the trend and see when a competitor gains ground.

MCP server

Ahrefs has an official remote MCP server, and it includes tool groups for Brand Radar reports at domain, URL and entity level. It needs a Lite plan or higher. Use the tools parameter in the server address to pick only the groups you need, because some AI clients limit how many tools they accept.

Automation idea: ask an AI assistant such as Claude to compare how you and three competitors are described across tracked prompts, and to list the pages it would improve first.

No-code automation

Check the Zapier directory for an Ahrefs app before you plan a no-code flow. A route that works with the API is a workflow in n8n, which the Ahrefs MCP documentation lists as a client.
