Streamable HTTP transport; authentication is OAuth 2.0 only (dynamic client registration + PKCE; discovery metadata at https://data.otterly.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp and /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server) — the docs state you do NOT pass an API key for MCP. Works with Claude Code (claude mcp add --transport http otterly https://data.otterly.ai/mcp), Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients; stdio-only clients can use the mcp-remote bridge. Exposes brand reports, prompts, citations, recommendations, and GEO audits as tools.

Otterly has a public API at data.otterly.ai with an OpenAPI spec and documentation, authenticated with an API key. It covers brand reports, prompts, citations, agent analytics and workspace data. Use it to pull weekly share-of-voice into Looker Studio or a warehouse.

MCP server

There is an official MCP server that works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients. It exposes brand reports, prompts and raw AI responses, citations, GEO audit results and recommendations. Ask an assistant which pages competitors are cited for that you are not, and draft a brief for each.
