How to automate Attio
MCP server
Attio runs a hosted MCP server that you add as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients. You sign in with OAuth, so no API keys are needed. It can search and update records, notes, tasks, lists and meetings.
One idea: after a call, ask Claude to find the company, log a note with the key points and create a follow-up task. Writes ask for confirmation, which keeps you in control.
API and webhooks
Attio has a REST API with a webhook reference, and an App SDK for building apps inside the product. One idea: send a webhook when a deal moves to a late stage, so a message lands in Slack with the deal owner and next step.
Built-in automation
Workflows start from triggers such as a new record. From there you can add web research, a custom agent that scores fit, a branch that routes to the right owner and a step that enrols the lead in a sequence. Build the scoring rules yourself and review its output for a few weeks before you trust it.
No-code automation
The vendor names Zapier among its integrations. A good use is to create an Attio record when a form submission arrives, so leads from forms and spreadsheets land in the same place.
