How to automate PushOwl

Native integrations

The PushOwl help centre lists integrations with review apps such as Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo and Stamped.io, with back-in-stock apps, loyalty and page-builder tools such as GemPages and PageFly. A good first step is a review app: send a review request by web push after delivery.

API and webhooks

PushOwl has Merchant APIs, and the help centre describes APIs and SDKs for Shopify app partners who want to integrate with it. Read the API reference before you plan a custom build, so you know which actions are open to you. It is the route if you want your own app to trigger a notification for a particular shopper.

MCP server

The PushOwl help centre has a guide for connecting Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants over MCP. You create credentials in Settings, approve the connection and choose which tools each assistant may use. An idea: ask an assistant to show how your automations performed this week and switch off the one that underperforms, with a preview and your confirmation before anything changes.

Built-in automation

Automations are the heart of the product. Set up abandoned cart, back-in-stock and price-drop flows first. The help centre also covers Shopify Flow, for example to send a push notification when an order is placed, and Shopify's own marketing automation for a new product release.
