Plus AI
Why Plus AI
Plus AI is an AI assistant that runs as an add-on inside Google Slides and PowerPoint. It drafts presentations from a prompt or from a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file, and rewrites existing slides into new layouts. It suits consultants, sales and marketing teams whose templates and brand already live in those files and who do not want a new editor.
What it does
Plus AI is an AI assistant that runs inside PowerPoint and Google Slides. You describe the presentation in a few sentences, or upload a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file, and it drafts the deck. It can also rewrite slides, reformat a block of text into a chosen layout, and add images, icons, charts and tables.
Decks stay normal slide files. The vendor says what you generate is yours.
Why you would need it
The moment is the blank first slide. You have the material, perhaps a report, call notes or last quarter's deck, and you need a presentable draft by tomorrow. Turning that into structure, layout and visuals takes hours that add no insight.
A tool that works from your own document and your own template gets you to an editable first version quickly. You then spend your time on the argument, not on aligning boxes.
Where it fits
Plus AI is an add-on to the tools you already use, so nothing about your storage, sharing or templates changes. Source documents feed it. A finished deck goes out the way your decks always go out.
It replaces the manual first draft. It does not replace a design tool. For a standalone AI deck builder, compare Gamma or Beautiful.ai.
What stands out
- No new editor. It lives inside PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Remix. It reformats an existing slide, even a wall of text, into a layout you pick.
- Team control. Team plans bring custom templates, your logo, fonts and colours, and shared presets.
- An API and MCP server. The Presentation Agent can be called from your own tools and returns PPTX, PDF and a thumbnail.
My take
I like that it respects the way people already work. Most teams have a template and a brand, and they do not want to move to a new editor to get AI help. Starting from a document is the right idea, since most decks begin as someone else's text.
What I would test is how your own template behaves. The vendor talks about templates that are compatible with its tools, and about white-glove conversion for enterprise. Design quality depends on how well your template is built. Run a real deck on the trial and see how many credits it uses, because credits decide your plan.
Verdict
Pick Plus AI when your team builds decks in PowerPoint or Google Slides and wants quicker first drafts from prompts and documents. Skip it if you want a separate design tool that handles layout for you, or if you rarely make presentations.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
Credits shape your usage
Plans include a pool of AI credits per user, and the higher plans add more. There is no free plan, only a 7 day trial with a small credit allowance. Measure how many credits a typical deck uses before you pick a plan.

Branding and templates need a higher plan
Custom templates and shared libraries are a feature of the Team plan and above. If brand consistency across a team is the point, check that tier first.
Output quality follows your template
Plus AI works inside your slide files, so a messy template gives messy slides. Test with your real template, not a demo one.
Data and compliance
The vendor states SOC 2 Type II compliance. If you upload client reports or call transcripts, still read what is stored and for how long.
Alternatives to compare
For a standalone AI presentation tool, compare Gamma and Beautiful.ai. For general design work, Canva is the usual alternative.
