What it is
Official Work IQ Mail MCP server (mcp_MailTools) from Microsoft; URL is per tenant (https://agent365.svc.cloud.microsoft/agents/tenants/{tenantId}/servers/mcp_MailTools), so no fixed server_url. Preview, Copilot license. Previous kacase/mcp-outlook is community.

API and webhooks

Microsoft recommends Microsoft Graph for Outlook mail, calendar and contacts, with OAuth 2.0 sign-in. Use the older Outlook endpoints only when a feature is not available in Graph.

Automation idea: when a new email arrives from a prospect, create or update the contact in HubSpot and log the message against the deal.

MCP server

Microsoft documents Work IQ Mail and Work IQ Calendar MCP servers. Mail covers creating, updating and deleting messages, replies and semantic search. Calendar covers creating, listing, updating and deleting events, accepting and declining, and resolving conflicts. They are in preview and need a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence and an app registration in Microsoft Entra.

Native integrations

Outlook works with Microsoft Teams for meetings, and CRMs such as HubSpot can connect to it.
