How to automate Loops
Native integrations
Loops lists integrations with Supabase, Stripe, Segment, PostHog, RudderStack, Polar, Clerk and Auth0, among others. An idea: when a customer pays through Stripe, sync them into your audience and start an onboarding workflow automatically.
API and webhooks
Loops has a REST API for contacts, events, lists, campaigns, workflows and transactional email, and it has incoming webhooks. Send an event from your product, such as a completed setup step, and let a published workflow react to it. Event naming is worth planning early because every workflow depends on it.
MCP server
Loops has an official MCP server at mcp.loops.so. It signs in with your Loops account and lets an AI tool find and update contacts, send events, send a published transactional email and create campaigns and workflows. An idea: ask your assistant to draft a win-back workflow from your recent cancellations, then review and publish it yourself.
No-code automation
Loops recommends Zapier and Make as the fastest way to start. A simple flow: when a form on your site is submitted, add the contact to Loops and trigger a welcome workflow, and when a deal closes in HubSpot, send an event so Loops starts customer onboarding.
