Lindy
How to automate Lindy
Built-in automation
Routines are the automation layer. Each one has a trigger, a prompt and a destination, and the vendor ships built-in ones for daily briefs, email drafting and meeting notes. Admins can create workspace routines for the whole team, and a Discover tab has templates. An idea: a Friday routine that pulls the week's numbers from your CRM and posts a summary in your team channel.
Native integrations
Lindy connects to more than 1,000 tools. Connections can be personal or shared with the workspace, and each one has a guardrail. An idea: connect Gmail, HubSpot and Slack, and set a Monday routine that lists deals without a next step, with write access set to require approval.
MCP server
Lindy works as an MCP client. You paste the URL of a hosted MCP server, and it creates actions from the tools that server publishes. A Lindy-hosted MCP server or a public Lindy API is not advertised, so Lindy acts as the client. An idea: connect Linear's server at mcp.linear.app/mcp, so Lindy can turn a support thread into an issue in Linear.
