Lemwarm
Why Lemwarm
Lemwarm automatically warms up new email accounts by exchanging messages across a network of trusted domains, building sender reputation before outreach campaigns. It targets sales teams, founders and revenue operations professionals sending cold email who need new or under-used mailboxes activated quickly. The tool monitors authentication and reports inbox placement metrics throughout campaigns.
What it does
Lemwarm is the email warm-up and deliverability part of lemlist. It exchanges real emails with real inboxes to build a mailbox's sender reputation before your campaigns need it. It also caps daily sending per inbox, pauses before unsafe limits and lets you set sending windows by time zone.
The current vendor page frames it as email infrastructure. You can connect a domain you own or buy one inside lemlist, and authentication is set up automatically. Health monitoring watches warm-up, outreach and inbox placement, and a technical audit shows what is wrong per mailbox.
Why you would need it
A new inbox that suddenly sends hundreds of emails a day looks like a spam operation to Gmail and Outlook. Missing authentication records make it worse. The vendor claims that one in five outbound emails fails because of infrastructure problems, which is a reason to check yours.
You feel the pain when open rates collapse after a few weeks and nobody knows why. Warm-up and monitoring catch the cause before you lose replies.
Where it fits
Lemwarm sits underneath whichever tool sends the outreach, and today it is part of lemlist. It protects the sending domain, feeds clean mailboxes into your sequences and reports on health. It replaces a standalone warm-up tool.
Standalone alternatives in this library are Warmup Inbox, Warmy.io, MailReach and Folderly.
What stands out
- Automatic exchange of real emails with real inboxes to build reputation.
- Matching the sender to the prospect's mail provider, so Gmail talks to Gmail and Outlook to Outlook.
- Daily sending caps per inbox that pause before unsafe limits.
- Alerts and a per-mailbox technical audit that show setup problems before they cost replies.
My take
I run Lemwarm for about a fortnight before heavy sending, as I do in my lemlist setup. The warnings about risky words and DNS gaps before a campaign launches save me from the common mistakes.
What I would watch is the idea that warm-up fixes everything. It does not. Your list quality, your message and your volume still decide whether you reach the inbox. Treat Lemwarm as protection, not a guarantee.
Verdict
Pick Lemwarm, through lemlist, if you send cold email on lemlist and want warm-up and monitoring included. Skip it as a standalone purchase, because it is no longer sold on its own. If you send from another platform, look at the standalone warm-up tools first.
Notes
Your note
Before you choose
It is no longer sold on its own
The lemlist pricing page says Lemwarm and the deliverability protections are included in all lemlist plans, and the old separate plans are gone. Check this with the vendor before you assume a standalone option exists.

Its value depends on lemlist
Warm-up is most useful when the same tool sends your campaigns. If you send from another platform, a standalone warm-up tool may fit better, and you would be paying for lemlist features you do not use.
Warm-up has limits
No tool can promise inbox placement. Reputation depends on your list, your content and your volume. Keep lists clean, send relevant messages and keep volumes steady.
Use a separate sending domain
The vendor's guidance is to protect your main company domain by sending cold outreach from a separate domain. A damaged reputation on your main domain would hit proposals and customer emails too. Decide on your domain setup before you add mailboxes.
