Creates, markets and sells online courses on a white-labelled platform with community features built in.

Why LearnWorlds

LearnWorlds is a white-labelled learning management system for creating, selling and delivering online courses. It serves course creators, training providers and organisations that want course authoring, checkout, payments, community features and sales analytics on one platform. It also includes AI tools for building courses and exploring your data in plain language.

Best for
Course creators and training providers who want to build, brand and sell online courses on their own white-label site, with checkout, community and reporting in one place.

What it does

LearnWorlds is a learning management system for selling and delivering online courses. You build courses with video, ebooks, assessments, certificates, SCORM files, surveys and live sessions. Interactive video turns your recordings into lessons with transcripts, quizzes and a table of contents.

Around the courses it gives you a branded school website from more than 50 templates, on your own domain, with a built-in checkout. You can sell single courses, bundles and memberships, run promotions and use one-click funnels. Community spaces, cohorts, reports and AI tools sit on top.

Why you would need it

A course business often starts as a pile of tools: a website, a video host, a payment page, an email list, a community group. Learner data sits in each one, and nothing tells you who finished what. You feel it the day a customer asks for a certificate or you want to see which lesson people drop out on.

The vendor also targets training providers who deliver programmes for several client organisations. If that is you, one system with separate schools and reporting is easier than several workarounds.

Where it fits

LearnWorlds sits at the centre of a course business. Your content goes in. Learners pay through Stripe or PayPal, and Stripe adds iDEAL, Bancontact and Klarna. Learner and sales data flows out to your CRM and email tools, and the vendor lists HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Shopify among its native integrations.

It replaces a separate website, a payment page and a community tool. Alternatives in this library are Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi and Podia.

What stands out

  • A true white-label setup, with your own domain and branding.
  • Interactive video and a wide set of learning formats, including SCORM.
  • Payment options such as iDEAL and Bancontact through Stripe, which matter for European learners.
  • More than 50 native integrations, plus an API, webhooks, Zapier and Make for anything else.

My take

LearnWorlds is a good choice when the course is the business and you want to own the experience. The commerce side is strong, and the reporting helps you see what learners do.

What I would watch is the plan structure. Fees on the entry plan, learner caps and the plans that hold API access all change what a plan really offers. A single, low-volume course may not need this much.

Verdict

Pick LearnWorlds if you want a branded academy with checkout, community and reporting, and you expect to grow past one course. Skip it if you are testing a first, small course. A lighter tool will cost you less effort.

Before you choose

The plan decides the real cost

The entry plan charges a fee on each paid enrolment, and the higher plans do not. Plans also differ in active learner caps, admin seats and branding. Estimate your learners and sales for the year before you choose, and note that the vendor shows prices without VAT.

API, webhooks and single sign-on sit higher up

The vendor's integrations page says that Stripe, PayPal, Zoom, Mailchimp and Zapier are available on all paid plans, but SSO and API with webhooks are only on the "Learning Center" and "High Volume and Corporate" plans. If you plan to automate, check this first, because plan names can change.

Trial, not a free plan

There is a 30-day free trial on all plans and no free plan. Use the trial to build one real course, take a test payment and look at the reports.

Compare it with other course platforms

Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi and Podia all sell courses. Compare the transaction fees, the white-label options and what you can export. If you ever leave, you want to take your learner data and content with you, so ask the vendor what the export looks like.
