How to automate Exact Online

Native integrations

Exact Online has an app store, and the vendor says it can process bank transactions automatically. Check the store for the CRM, e-commerce or payment tool you use. The vendor mentions more than 220 integrations, so check the full list for your own tools.

API and webhooks

A REST API is documented in Exact's support knowledge base. Use it to pull invoices and outstanding balances into a dashboard, for example in Looker Studio or Google Sheets. Check the API pages for what they cover and whether webhooks are supported.

Built-in automation

The AI agents are the built-in automation. The Purchase Agent processes purchase invoices, the Bank Agent matches bank transactions, and the Debtor Agent supports collections. Switch them on one at a time and review the results each week.

There is no official MCP server yet. Exact's own site announces one as upcoming.
