If you bill through Paddle or Chargebee, want the portal on your own domain, or want an assistant to work with your programme data through an MCP server, pick Tolt.

Pick Rewardful when you are a Stripe-based SaaS and want a straightforward launch. Affiliates sign up through a branded portal and get tracked links and coupon codes, which suit influencers and places where links are not an option.

Rules cover percentage or fixed commissions, one-time or recurring, cookie length and minimum payouts. It flags suspected self-referrals and adjusts commissions for refunds and plan changes. It has a REST API, a JavaScript API and signed webhooks. Skip it if you do not use Stripe or need multi-tier commissions. Plan for the next tier as the programme grows.

Payouts run through PayPal, Wise or Payoneer. Invoices for affiliates and tax form handling come on higher plans, and automatic payouts carry a processing fee. The API covers partners, customers, clicks, links, commissions and promotion codes. It is not for physical products or affiliate marketplaces.
