Adzooma vs Google Ads

Google Ads is where you buy clicks on search and display. Adzooma is a free-to-start dashboard that audits Google, Microsoft and Meta campaigns. You need an ad platform before you need Adzooma.

The verdict

If you are new to paid search, start with Google Ads and a small test budget. Make sure conversion tracking works and your landing page can convert. Without those, no tool will help.

Once campaigns are live, and especially if you also advertise on Microsoft or Meta, connect Adzooma. The free plan lets you try it on a real account at no risk. It is most useful when you have several accounts or little platform knowledge, because the findings are in plain language.

If you only run one small campaign and can check it by eye, you may not need Adzooma yet.

Who each is for

Choose Adzooma if…

Pick Google Ads if your buyers search before they buy and you can manage keywords, negatives and bids continuously. Search intent is the draw, and you can cap spend at any time.

It gives you several campaign types in one account, Smart Bidding and conversion measurement tied to leads or sales. There is a public API and an official MCP server.

Costs are not predictable up front, and cost per click can be high in competitive B2B. Budget time for management or an agency, and set up tracking before you spend.

Choose Google Ads if…

Pick Adzooma when you already advertise and want audits, alerts and client reports without building them by hand. It watches for broken tracking, overspend and disapproved ads across three platforms from one login.

It suits agencies, freelancers and in-house marketers. E-commerce teams get shopping feed fixes and an ad copy optimiser.

It is not a bid engine, so do not expect deep bid automation. Real monitoring and branded reports sit on the paid plans, and API access is unclear outside Enterprise.
