What it is
Zoom ships and documents its own MCP servers (docs: https://developers.zoom.us/docs/mcp/ and https://developers.zoom.us/docs/mcp/servers/connect-to-zoom-mcp-servers/). Remote, vendor-hosted servers with regional gateways (global https://mcp.zoom.us/, US https://mcp-us.zoom.us/, EU https://mcp-eu.zoom.us/, etc.), streamable HTTP transport, product-specific endpoints (Meetings, Chat, Whiteboard). Requires manual client registration via a Zoom App Marketplace 'General app' (no Dynamic Client Registration/CIMD), OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, Bearer token from POST https://zoom.us/oauth/token, and OAuth scopes per tool; subject to product licensing. A well-known third-party MCP also exists: Zapier's Zoom MCP server (https://zapier.com/mcp/zoom).

How to automate Zoom

Native integrations

Calendar and booking tools add Zoom links automatically, and note takers join Zoom meetings to record and transcribe them. Connect your booking tool, your note taker and your CRM so a call produces a summary on the right record.

Automation idea: after every sales call, send the summary to the contact in your CRM and create a follow-up task.

API and webhooks

Zoom documents a REST API at api.zoom.us/v2 and webhook subscriptions for real-time events.

Automation idea: when a meeting ends, a webhook triggers a script that saves the recording link and posts it to the deal.

MCP server

Zoom publishes official remote MCP servers, with a global endpoint at mcp.zoom.us and regional gateway URLs for several regions. It also keeps an MCP registry repository on GitHub.

Automation idea: connect an AI assistant to the MCP server and ask it to list last week's meetings with a given client.
