Native integrations

Google Calendar creates Meet links for events, and scheduling and note-taking tools connect to Meet. Connect your calendar, your scheduler and a note taker so each call has a link, a transcript and a summary.

Automation idea: after a call, send the summary to the contact record in your CRM and create a follow-up task.

API and webhooks

The Meet REST API creates and manages meeting spaces, and returns conference records, attendance, recordings, transcripts and smart notes. The Google Workspace Events API lets you subscribe to Meet events for a space or for a user's meetings.

Automation idea: when a conference ends, fetch the transcript and send it to your summarising tool.

MCP server

There is no official Meet MCP server yet. Google's Workspace MCP servers, in developer preview, cover Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Chat and People, but not Meet. Use the API for Meet data, and the Calendar MCP server if you want an assistant to schedule meetings.
