App integrations

What it is
This feature records which other applications the tool can connect to out of the box. A direct integration means you choose your accounting package, your email tool or your spreadsheet from a list, log in once, and data starts to move. The answer here is a list of names, not a simple yes or no, and the lists can differ a lot in size and in how deep each connection goes.
Why it matters
A long list looks impressive, but what counts is whether the apps you already use are on it and what the connection can actually do. One integration may only create a contact, while another may sync every field both ways. Missing integrations are not always fatal, since many tools offer a web hook or an API as a fallback, but that usually needs technical help. Check this before you commit, because moving your data later is the expensive part.
What to check
- Write down the five apps you cannot do without and confirm each one is on the list.
- Ask what each integration can do, for example which records and fields it reads and writes.
- Check whether the integration is made by the vendor or by a third party, and who fixes it when it breaks.
- Find out whether integrations cost extra or are limited to higher plans.
