Adalysis vs Google Ads Transparency Center

Adalysis logovsGoogle Ads Transparency Center logo
Adalysis audits your own Google and Microsoft Ads accounts. Google's Transparency site shows what other advertisers have run on Google. One looks inward, the other outward, so they rarely compete.

The verdict

If you have not written your ads yet, start with the Transparency site. It takes minutes, and it can change how you write a first ad. It shows what was shown, not what worked, so treat it as inspiration.

If you already spend on Google Ads or Microsoft Ads and want fewer manual checks, Adalysis does the daily checking for you. The Transparency site cannot do that, because it measures nothing in your account.

Plenty of teams will use both at different stages: research before the campaign, audits once it is live. Do not pay for Adalysis to do competitor research. It is not built for it.

Who each is for

Choose Adalysis if…

Pick the "Google Ads Transparency Center" when you want a quick, free look at what a competitor, or an advertiser you are unsure about, has shown on Google. It is useful before you brief your own ad copy.

It covers ads shown on Google only. It tells you nothing about spend, conversions or targeting, so a long-running ad is not proof of a profitable one.

It is a public site rather than a product with a plan or support, so do not build a process that relies on its layout staying the same.

Choose Google Ads Transparency Center if…

Pick Adalysis when paid search is a real cost line and the manual audits eat your week. You get more than a hundred daily audits, automated ad tests, budget forecasts and report templates with white-label options.

It suits PPC managers at agencies and in-house teams with several accounts. Every plan has unlimited accounts and users.

It only helps if somebody reads the alerts, and it has no direct API. Skip it if you run one small account that you can check by eye.
