How to automate Apple Mail

Built-in automation

Mail sorts incoming messages into categories, blocks senders and reduces junk mail on its own. Use categories to keep receipts and promotions out of the way, and block repeat senders instead of deleting by hand.

No-code automation

Apple Mail has no hosted service that an automation tool can connect to, so you automate at the mailbox. If your account is on Gmail or Microsoft 365, connect that mailbox in Zapier or Make, and Mail shows the result.
